Scott Parry has a great reputation in the South West Estate Agent's world. We love working with Scott as he has an approach that is quite simply blunt, and if you have ever worked with us you'll know that we're not big on bullshit either. The brief was simple, design and build a better estate agents website that looks exactly like the old one. Meeting done in 5 minutes.

The Project
Designing a site that looks like the old one would, you'd think, be an easy task. This would be made even easier by the fact that we designed their old site. The problem we had is of course, we like to make things better and secondly the old site was trashed, it was a poorly functioning Wordpress site bogged down by security issues and an integration into their back office system that was dumping images into their site on a daily basis, grinding it to a painful halt.
We'd need a solution that integrates with their back office systems better, more secure and ideally not Wordpress as it's always causing us designers problems. Most importantly it'd need to run fast.

THE OUTCOME
What we delivered, from vision to execution
The outcome was indeed a site that emitted the same aura as the old site but was thankfully not a direct copy, more refined, running faster and looking better. Kind of like if Tears for Fears had covered Gary Jules rather than the other way around. Using Wordpress was unavoidable thanks to a massive upgrade to the back office systems in Scott's office we could only integrate the site this way, however massive loads of work were saved as the back office systems feed to the site, Rightmove and other property portals. We dropped the whole site onto our high speed, super secure cloud hosting platform with a dedicated server to keep it running quickly.
